Interior Decorating

An interior decorating project will be much more successful if you pay attention to a few key guidelines. Once you know the basics of interior design you can create rooms that really work.

Have you ever walked into a room that was full of nice things but just didn't "feel" quite right? The chances are that the person who decorated that room might have great taste but simply did not know the basics of interior design. Many people fall into this category but you don't have to be one of them.
Most of us know what we like but just have no idea how to pull it all together to create a warm and inviting room when interior decorating. We are giving you a mini course on interior design which will help you make more informed decision with your home decor. You will learn the basics of interior decorating and gain the confidence to take great decorating ideas and use them together to create one cohesive look.

Remember, when decorating you should enjoy the journey and not see it as a task to be accomplished. When starting an interior decorating project remember to keep it fun! While learning the "rules" of interior design is important, you must always keep in mind that your interiors should reflect your lifestyle and tastes. (Source : the-creative-home.com)

Decor Basic

What keeps many people from creating the beautiful home decor they desire is a lack of confidence. We worry "Is this the right color?", "Does this match?", "Is that sofa the right size?" and so on. One of the things I hope to accomplish is to give you the interior decorating basics you need so that you know you are making good interior design decisions. (source:the-creative-home.com)

Balinese Garden

Our garden is filled with tropical plants and trees that Made has chosen and planted. Here you will find papaya trees and banana palms, together with many other exciting and exotic plants.

The garden surrounds two traditional Balinese houses. Each house consists of two separate rooms, but can also be rented as a “family house”.

Two traditional Balinese pavilions are situated in the garden. These are designed for relaxation, getting a massage, reading a book or just enjoying the feeling of Bali.

Haven indeholder også en traditionel balinesiske ”balé” som er en slags pavillon, perfekt sted til at slappe af, få massage, læse en bog, eller bare falde ind i ” Bali stemningen”.

All buildings are constructed in traditional Balinese style, but combined with modern comforts and a touch of luxury.

Recently we have added a swimming pool for our guests to enjoy, should you desire a quick dip or simply wish to relax in private.(source:lovinacantik.com)

Your Balinese Home

Made has designed and built our small hotel as four rooms in two villas to modern standards but with respect for the architecture and culture of Bali.

We, Jette and Made, are a Danish-Balinese couple, living in the idyllic North Bali, at Lovina Beach. Rumah Cantik is charmingly situated between the traditional Balinese village of Kaliasem on one side and the rice paddies on the other. But still only a few minutes walk from restaurants and the beach, which is only 200m away, and presents excellent opportunities for snorkelling and diving. The early birds have the possibility to enjoy the Dolphin Safari – an experience not to be missed. The ocean at Lovina Beach is very calm and secure for the smaller guests as well, making this the ideal place for families with children.(source : lovinacantik.com)
